Choose your exact handle

Handle 1–4 follow the photographs in order. Each variant represents the actual individual handle pictured, with one of each available. All four handles are 135 mm long and sold individually at €99 each.

• Handle 1 — Blonde & Black: a light blonde body with a prominent black streak and warm brown accents, paired with a pale, subtly striped upper section.
• Handle 2 — Black & Cream: a predominantly black body with a lighter central marking and a contrasting cream-and-brown upper section.
• Handle 3 — Dark Striped: flowing bands of black, brown and cream along the body, with a mostly pale cream upper section.
• Handle 4 — Golden Blonde: a softer golden-blonde body with delicate pale streaks and a more strongly striped brown-and-cream upper section.

Choosing a 135 mm handle

Compare the 135 mm overall length with your current handle, preferred grip and the proportions of your knife. A replacement handle can change how a knife feels and balances, so handle width, weight and the blade's dimensions also matter.

Length alone does not confirm compatibility. For a wa-style knife, the hidden tang must suit the handle opening and insertion depth. Tang length, height and thickness, as well as the final blade alignment, all need to be checked. Opening dimensions, internal depth, external width and weight have not been specified for this selection, so fit for a particular knife model cannot be guaranteed from the photographs.

Fitting advice

These handles are intended for compatible wa-style knife construction, where the blade's tang fits inside the handle. They are not direct replacements for Western handles made from two riveted scales. Professional fitting is recommended, as careful adjustment and an appropriate mounting method may be required. Do not force a tang into the handle.

Caring for natural horn

• Clean gently by hand with tepid water, mild soap and a soft cloth, then dry immediately.
• Do not soak or put the handle in a dishwasher. Avoid hot water.
• Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight, and store in a dry place.
• Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and strong cleaning products.
• Once fitted, dry carefully around the handle and blade junction after cleaning.

Natural horn can respond to changes in moisture and temperature. Gentle cleaning and careful storage help preserve its appearance.
