Exceeds Expectations

Short Version - Great product with a satisfying "thunk" with each cut. Knives don't grab and there is just something to the "feel" when cutting that is very satisfying compared to wood and especially the budget plastic boards that we have all collected over the years. It has cleaned up easily for me and the fact that it is dishwasher safe was the last factor for my purchase as I don't have a huge sink and often cut proteins on the board. These factors make it worth the price. Finally, communication from Tokushu is the best and they reached out to me to clarify another part of my order by sending me pictures of the actual products. Above and beyond expectations. Great cutting board and great company to support!

Buying quality Hasegawa saved me money

I'm 81 years old and spend hundreds of dollars often having my Wusthof and Shun knives sharpened because I didn't realize there was Pro-Soft cutting board available. In just a few weeks I can see the difference it makes in preserving a razor sharp edge that's required for the hobby Asian cooking I do. In addition, a shipping problem occurred that was going to make delivery late for special event and they shipped replacement order overnight. My next order will be a pair of their knives for myself and son's family.

Excellent customer service

We thought an item was missing and the owner reached out and they were going to send another one no questions asked.

buttery soft

best cutting board ever. I am converted from high end wood boards officially. A good investment for anyone taking their knives seriously.

Hasegawa Pro-Soft Cutting Board FSR20-5030

Excellent board, indispensable while using expensive and very sharp knives. Best for precise seafood cuttings and vegetable prep decoration. Get the soft abrasive sponge for easier cleaning. I also own one Asahi Parker board; I prefer this one because of a softer surface. Recommended

Love it. We already had some Hasegawa cutting boards, but the ones we had were too big for our dishwasher. The 50cm x 30cm boards here, though, are exactly the right size to be the biggest cutting board that fits into our Miele dishwasher!

Oh, and everything else about the boards is true: light weight, grips food well, and is gentle on your knife edges!

Great cutting board and excellent customer service

This is an awesome cutting board and it’s very easy to clean only fault I would give it is that when my cutting board arrived there’s a slight chip in the middle of the board

Justin,
We are sad to hear about the chip- can you send us a photo, and we are happy to exchange if you like. Tony@Tokushuknife.com

Twice the edge retention!

I have been using a Hasegawa Cutting board for about 6 months now. I love it! I use it with my Moritaka AS Bunka, which can be a bit "chippy" if you are not careful. Not only is it gentle on the blade, but I haven't had to even strop my knife for 4 months (home use) I won't ever go back!
