Overview
The Hatsukokoro Ryuhyo SG2 Damascus Black Coating Petty 150mm combines a slim, lightweight blade with a distinctive dark Damascus finish. Its 150mm length is well suited to trimming, peeling and slicing smaller ingredients, making it a useful companion to a larger chef's knife.
An SG2 powdered stainless steel core is paired with stainless Damascus cladding. The black coating gives the blade a dark appearance while the flowing Damascus pattern remains visible. At 78g, with a spine that tapers from 1.8mm at the heel to 0.5mm at the tip, this petty is easy to manoeuvre for detailed preparation.
This version comes fitted with an octagonal walnut handle. The warm wood grain complements the dark blade, with natural variations in colour and grain between individual handles.

Care
Hand wash with a soft sponge and dry immediately after use. Do not soak or put in a dishwasher. Avoid abrasive pads or polishing compounds on the coated blade. Use a wooden or soft plastic cutting board, and avoid bones, frozen food and twisting the blade during a cut.

Orders delivered within the European Union are shipped from within the EU, so no import duties are normally due upon delivery. For supported destinations outside the EU, when duties or taxes apply, we use Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) services so the applicable charges are handled in advance.
