So all your friends keep rubbing in your face that this week they bought this new knife, and that new knife. But do they have a whale kogatana?
Yeah, we didn't think so! “Kujira” translates to whale in Japanese. A kogatana was traditionally used to cut paper, open boxes and sharpen pencils, making it a versatile small pocket knife.
These solid performers are made from SK5 carbon steel, a tough steel also used in many quality Chinese cleavers. Choose your favourite whale-shaped knife—and own the one piece your knife-collecting friends might be jealous of.
