About Tokushu Knife Malta

About Tokushu Knife Malta

TokushuKnife.eu is operated by Tokushu Knife Malta Limited, an independent Maltese company serving Tokushu Knife customers outside the United States.

Our Purpose

We curate Japanese kitchen knives and specialist tools for professional chefs, knife enthusiasts, collectors, passionate home cooks, woodworkers, and thoughtful gift buyers. Our work centres on accurate product information, honest guidance, careful preparation, and support after the sale.

Tokushu Knife Malta is more than a fulfilment location. Our Mosta workshop and appointment-only boutique provide professional sharpening, handle installation, custom work, knife care, and personal consultations.

The Tokushu Knife Story

The Tokushu Knife brand began in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where Anthony “Tony” Maciejewski founded the US business in December 2020. TokushuKnife.com is the USA-focused storefront.

Tokushu Knife Malta Limited operates separately from Malta. TokushuKnife.eu is the preferred international store for customers outside the United States, with available delivery destinations shown in the country selector and at checkout.

The Meaning of Tokushu

The Japanese word Tokushu (特殊) means special or unique. That idea guides our selection: we look for workmanship, heat treatment, geometry, practical performance, and character rather than relying on a famous name alone.

Curated by Experience

Our Malta operation is led by John Muscat, EU Operations Manager and Master Sharpener. With more than 35 years of professional culinary experience, John understands what working chefs expect from their tools and leads our sharpening and workshop services in Mosta.

We also work with Japanese craftsmen and specialist handle makers on selected Tokushu Knife products, custom handles, and limited-production collaborations.

What We Stand For

  • Accurate specifications and clear statements when a detail cannot be verified
  • Knowledgeable advice without elitism or sales pressure
  • Professional sharpening and thoughtful after-sale support
  • Careful curation, premium photography, and honest product education
  • Long-term relationships with customers and craftspeople

Whether you are choosing your first Japanese knife or adding to a long-established collection, our goal is to help you make a confident, informed decision and to support the knife throughout its working life.
